Product advantages: Urgo burns, superficial wounds sterile dressing combines two substances (petrolatum + carboxymethylcellulose) within a mesh that can relieve pain and promote healing of the wound. Urgo burns, superficial wounds sterile dressing does not adhere to the wound and allows painless removal. MANUAL : In the case of a superficial burn of 2nd degree: maintain wound under cold water for 15 minutes to limit the extent of the burn. In all cases : Clean the wound with an antiseptic, alcohol-free lotion. In the case of a burn, never use coloured antiseptic. Dry thoroughly with a sterile dressing. Whenever possible, leave the blister as it protects against infection. If it erupts, disinfect. It is unnecessary to remove the dead skin. Remove the protective wings. Apply to the affected area. The use of a pre-cream is unnecessary. The usual duration of treatment is 5 to 6 days with 1 renewal of the dressing after 24 hours, then every 48 hours. Do not use in case of deep 2nd degree burns, 3rd degree burns, or for burns on the face. In these cases, a prior medical consultation is mandatory. Reserved for the treatment of localized wounds, whose size does not exceed the size of a compress. For burns, it is desirable that the pad extends beyond the burn to permit absorption of exudates. If there is no improvement of wound healing after 6 days, consult your doctor. For burns on children, ask your pharmacist. If clinical signs of local infection (redness extending of the unbroken skin, pain ..), consult your pharmacist or doctor. Urgo burns and minor injuries dressings must be used once opened. Store away from heat, light and moisture. CAUTION : The re-use of a single-use product may cause a risk of infection. FORMATS: Box with 6 plasters for small or 4 large format dressings. |
